Everything you need to know!

Hey mama! If you're on the market for a new pump, it can feel overwhelming trying to find one that is right for you and your body. In this blog, we break down some of the frequently asked questions about the Willow Pump, in hopes to smooth out your decision making. Keep reading to learn more!

Is it Safe to Buy a Used Willow Pump?

Willow Pump's FDA clearance is for a single user, which means only one mama should be using a pump. When it's passed onto another mama, the warranty is void. Purchasing a used pump can also have sanitary implications. It's much safer to use one that's new and perfectly fit to your body and needs!

Can I Exclusively Pump With Willow?

Yes! Willow Pump is committed to designing hands free pumps that allow mamas to do more while they pump. If you are exclusively pumping, that extra mobility can make all the difference. Now, you can pump and work, do chores, read, walk, go to concerts, and more. The sky is truly the limit with Willow!

Is Willow Hospital Grade?

Both the Willow 3.0® and Willow Go™ pumps have hospital strength suction comparable to most double-electric and hospital-grade pumps. With both pumps, you can choose from seven levels of suction with the Willow 3.0, or nine levels with the Willow Go. You can read up on the differences between the Willow 3.0 and Willow Go here.

Is Willow Good for Low Supply?

Willow works for moms with all levels of milk supply. The adjustable suction levels allow you to cater to your body's needs. When pumping, you can use on or two of the reusable storage bags, or a milk container to store your milk.

How Long Can I Pump With Willow?

For each pumping session, you should be pumping between 15-20 minutes on each side to ensure you're efficiently emptying your breasts. This length can also change depending on how old your baby is, and how often you pump. Read more on pumping schedules here.

How Long Does Willow Pump Charge Last?

The Willow Pump will stay charged for approximately five feeding sessions, and takes around 2 hours to reach full charge. You can do a quick charge for 20 minutes to get one feeding session.
