What you'll learn
Youโve probably heard โfed is bestโ, butโฆhow do you feed a baby? We go back to basics here, with the reminder that there are MANY ways to feed your baby, and the best method is the one that works best for your family.
EBF is just what it sounds like - feeding your baby by breastfeeding / chestfeeding only.
Using expressed milk via bottles.
Using formula to feed your baby.
Also known as combo feeding or supplemental feeding. One of the four ways to feed your baby, Mixed Feeding means using both breast milk and formula during the feeding journey. Mixed Feeding has the added bonus of keeping the magic nutrients in your breast milk, while not relying on breast milk alone to fill a baby up. The best of both worlds? Yes please.
