Flanges are very helpful when pumping outside the home. They keep the milk clean as it pumps directly into the bag, and I don't have to handle the milk transfer. Mess-free once you learn the flip to finish.
I would recommend them 100%. Make sure to get the correct flange size! Very important

I had originally been using the bags with with the Willow; however, the Willow at times was not pumping milk (even though it was turned on and the app was counting ounces) I thought I would try the milk containers. Unfortunately the same issue has happened. The app will say it is pumping and counting ounces, and then when 15 minutes is up there is no milk in the container. I have a strong milk supply, and use the Spectra when I'm at home so I know this is a Willow issue not a milk supply issue. The app also doesn't correctly identify the ounces that are pumped out. I poor the milk into a container with ounce numbers on it, and it never matches what the apps says was pumped. I also think in general the pumps are too finicky, and they really have to be placed on just right or you spend lots of time figuring out exactly what part is not exactly put on correctly (not helpful in a work setting with limited time) I could deal with this if they also didn't have the first problem I discussed above related to no milk coming out. Lastly, the advertising on the website is not clear. I bought several additional pieces when I bought the milk containers because it wasn't clear if they would come with these additional pieces (milk container inserts and flanges). It wasn't until after I opened all three boxes that I saw the milk containers came with the milk container inserts and flanges; however, Willow's policy of returns is that if the box is open they cannot be returned. These flanges are the biggest size they make and they still hurt me. I'll stick with my 27mm Medela.

With a wearable pump especially, we cannot see what is happening while we pump, so we always want to double check sizing, as it can differ from a traditional pump.
