How to store and scan milk

• Tear away top seal, unzip and pour in milk. Do not exceed the maximum fill line
  
• Remove excess air from the bag and zip shut
  
• Use a pen or fine-tipped marker to label bag with name, date, and milk volume
  
• Scan bag information in the Willow app to automatically input milk details
  
• Store the bag upright on a refrigerator shelf or freeze flat

How to view and manage bags in the app

You don’t even need a Willow pump to use our SmartStash bags! This feature is available to anyone who purchases Willow Breast Milk Storage Bags with SmartStash tracking. The app helps moms manage and track fresh, frozen and thawed bagged milk in the fridge or freezer. It does this by offering:

• List and total number of bags in each location
  
• Individual bag view, with ability to move/remove
  
• Stored milk metrics for each location and across all locations
  
• Ability to find oldest bags

Want to see where a particular bag is in the queue? Simply rescan the bag to look it up in the stash. The app allows you to see a detailed view of each bag, as well as a log of all storage events.
