    50/50

    Pros:

    - so convenient for on the go/driving/pumping while working

    - battery life is great

    - love the containers rather than the bags from the other Willow model

    - App is easy to use

    Cons:

    - too many parts (cleaning and assembly is SUCH a time sucker)

    - leaks/overfills almost every time. you can't bend over when wearing them or it'll spill so makes some things difficult. In the mornings when I'm super full, it leaks out if I don't pay attention and manually stop it. It doesn't stop/shut off when you hit the max the container holds so it soaks my bra which is disappointing it doesn't have a "fill line"- it just keeps going. Additionally when unassembling afterwards, there's allllways milk that leaks which is frustrating

    - Still kinda bulky.. wish it was a little slimmer. it's heavy to travel it/fit in bags.

Love but they broke almost immediately

I love the concept and being able to wear them on the go is so convenient. I’ve been able to pump while traveling in the car and living in an urban area I’ve been able to pump just about anywhere. Unfortunately, I’ve only been exclusively pumping for 4 weeks and both pumps broke. The first lost the ability to charge within a week and the other one the motor died in week 4. For the price, they should last more than 30 days. Luckily I have a back up pump. Willow has replaced both but it’s still very frustrating.

    Game changing

I love the willow pump so much. I have a spectra synergy gold pump and the willow produces the SAME and sometimes more output than my spectra. I attached an image of a session where I pumped 5 oz from both sides.

    Some advice:

    1. You NEED the right flange size. Using the pump without it is a sure fire way to not extract milk optimally. The inserts willow sells are key here.

    2. You can’t really bend down normally but you can squat to bend down without dropping all your milk.

    3. IMO the expression can sometimes be stronger than my spectra gold. I tend to use less intense settings on my willow than my spectra. I use stimulation: 3 and start with expression: 4 and build to expression: 7. I usually use 3 stimulation/9 expression on spectra for reference.

The only negative is washing the pump parts but that’s going to be a con for all wearable pumps

    Love them buuuutt some issues

I have a love/hate relationship with these pumps. They are so great for being able to pump on the go, I can just use 1 at a time if I am feeding on the other side, I don't have any problems with milk production or the battery life. I can charge them over night and they will work for all my pumping sessions the next day. A couple things I don't like about these pumps. 1. If I am not paying close attention they will overfill and just keep pumping and overfilling, they don't have anything to stop them from pumping when the cups are full. It would be nice to have some sort of feature that they stop when they are full so you don't wind up with a soaking wet bra/shirt. 2. Related to the first issue, I often have to stop mid-pump and dump milk then start pumping again. When I do this and start to pump again, the duckbill valve will pop off while I am pumping so it no longer has suction. When this happens I then have to take the cup assembly apart, dry the inside of the valve and the piece it goes on, put it back together and hope I dried it good enough so that it will regain suction. I've replaced the duckbill valves and that didn't seem to help so I'm not sure if this is an issue other people have or not. It just becomes extremely difficult to handle this situation when I am driving to work or not at home to try handle this and keep everything clean while doing it.
