How to Make Your Life Easier: 6 Things Our Willow Team Swears By

The coffee is a must have!

Willow is in the business of making mom’s life easier, more freeing and—less stressful! But our pump can’t *actually* help you do it all (although it comes pretty close). Here are some of the things our team swears by that makes their lives … just a little better.

1. The Willow Go

We’re a little biased, but the latest pump in our family, Willow Go, is a must-have for moms. Whether you’re on-the-go or at home and want to be hands-free, it offers hospital-grade suction strength with a sleek design that fits completely in your bra. Our very own Joanna got to test drive Willow Go for herself. "Without Go, I don’t know how I would have kept my garden alive, kept up with dirty laundry and dishes, or managed 4-hour chunks of sleep. Go allowed me to get much needed breaks from what felt like 24/7 baby care in those early postpartum months. My two dogs also like the Go as I can pump while walking them. When we get back home, I can take a nap with the pups and hand off the milk to dad so he feels included in the baby feeding."

Next-level convenience—easy to learn, use, and clean—with a 100% comfort rating from moms.

2. The Willow Backpack

If you’re looking for a stylish diaper bag that doesn’t look like a diaper bag and comes with functionality crucial to new mother hood and pumping—we’ve got you. Sleek, stylish design, multiple ways to wear (backpack, crossbody or shoulder bag!) and a removable milk cooler are elements you can expect from the Willow Backpack. It’s something we never leave home without (even after we’re done pumping!).

Keep your pump safe and your milk cold on the go! This sleek, compact bag with removable milk cooler holds your pumping essentials as a backpack, crossbody, or shoulder bag.

3. Babo Botanicals Sensitive Spray Diaper Cream

This is something we never new we needed, but according to Chelsi Brown, Senior Manager Lifecycle Marketing, IYKYK. “If your baby has a painful diaper rash, that means diaper changes are miserable—for both of you. A spray diaper cream alleviates some of the stress and time it takes to get it, wipe, apply and GTFO.”

4. Frida Windi

Not exactly what you thought you’d be talking about as an adult human, but sometimes a gadget like this is a lifesaver for new parents. Also recommended by Chelsi Brown (above!) as something she can’t live with out, the Frida Windi is a huge help when your baby can’t calm down, is gassy and bicycling their legs isn’t doing any good. All immature, grade school jokes aside, this is the GOAT product when your baby is uncomfortable, screaming bloody murder and you’re just trying to get a few more hours of sleep.

5. OXO Coffee Maker

Margaret Murray, Senior Manager, Content claims that this is something everyone—not just new moms—should splurge on if they know what’s good for them. “This is Wirecutter’s top pick (shout out to all my Wirecutter fans!) and was sold out for a long time during the longest months of shelter-in-place. Those were really dark days for more than one reason and caffeine and the company of my “pod” was one of the only things that got me through it. I can’t tell you how many coffee makers I’ve test-driven during the last 3 years (and I won’t because it’s embarrassing) and this is by far the best one out there and what’s better than waking up to a steaming cup of coffee in your kitchen. Nothing. The answer is: Nothing.

6. Hum Kids Smart Toothbrush

If you’re going to choose a hill to die on, let it not be the battle of brushing. Joanna Figliozzi, our Senior Art Director swears by the Hum Kids Smart Toothbrush. “It's made night time routine less of a chore, my daughter loves that you can see teeth while brushing. You get prizes, stars, and can get your photo with a fun filter at the end, and my daughter eats that stuff up.” Not only does it help with the bedtime routine but the augmented reality app helps make learning the ins and outs of dental hygiene fun, fresh and kid-focused.
